It is easy to get so excited by something that you start to overlook important details. In my case, I overlooked digestion.
I was so excited to get a solid 40 minutes of run time in that I hurriedly ate a pile of spaghetti and veggie balls, packed my bag, and hit the highway toward the gym.
15 minutes later, I strip down to my yoga pants, put on my five finger shoes, and I am off like a rocket!
For 15 minutes I run hard. At minutes 16, I start burping up the vegetarian meatballs that accompanied my spaghetti. I try to power through, but no dice.
This just proves that just because you know better, doesn’t mean you always do better. 😉
